Rated 4 out of 5 by from USING THE WATER TANK RINSER I have used the device only once thus far, since rinsing the water heater tank is generally only a periodic function, especially when winterizing. It seemed to perform well as debris was certainly observed coming out of the drain port. It's hard to determine exactly how well it works since you can't see into the tank. I wish I had one of those viewers you can use to see inside of walls so I could determine if I've done enough rinsing. All you can really do is rinse until you see no more debris and maneuver the device at all angles to insure you've hit all surfaces of the tank interior. Most debris should be settled on the bottom however.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MONEY SAVER OVER TIME THIS WILL SAVE YOU A LOT OF MONEY BY DOING THE RIGHT MAINTENANCE ON YOUR HOT WATER TANK . I USE A SOLUTION OF 1/2 CUP OF WHITE VINEGAR AND 1 QUART OF WARM WATER , PUT IT IN A GARDEN SPRAYER AND SPRAY IT ALL AROUND THE INSIDE OF TANK AND ON THE HEATING ELEMENT , WAIT ABOUT 20 MINUTES AND FLUSH WITH THIS RINSER , THE BENT END REALLY HELPS GETTING ALL THE HARD SPOTS RINSED , DO THIS A FEW TIMES , YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE THE AMOUNT OF CRUD THAT WILL COME OUT OF YOUR TANK , IN THE LONG RUN THIS WILL KEEP YOUR TANK . CLEAN AND PROLONG THE LIFE OF IT , ESPECIALLY THE HEATING ELEMENT . , EQUALS MONEY SAVER

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked as described Bought this off of the website and it worked great to clean the water heater. What was even better was the free shipping offered to Good Sam's members. I was concerned that the shipping was going to be more that the cost of the rinser!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Water Heater Tank Rinser This is a simple, easy to use item that I wish I had years ago. I does a great job of flushing debris from the inside of the tank. Every RV owner should put this on their must-have list, and use it at least twice a year.
