Great for the price
I have been training German Shepherds for 20 years and this is a great bowl for travel. I also have one in the back of my K9 unit and have for 22 years. Dogs don't need water every second so there is enough in this bowl as you drive. Only lazy people want a bigger bowl so they don't have to refill it all the time. All breeds of dogs can use this bowl. If you have a messy dog it will be messy with any bowl. If you have a dog that chews then this is not the bowl for you. I would recommend this bowl for all travel!!

No splash, no digging!
We have a dachshund who was bred to dig. It is cute when hunting a bug in the grass, but not so cute in the RV when
she decides to splash water everywhere. Not only do these bowls stop a dog from digging, they also provide splash
protection during travel. If you are like us, you have stepped in a dog bowl and turned it over in the tight confines of a trailer too. We are up to five of them now -two in our house (hardwood floors protected!), one in our tow vehicle, one for inside the trailer, and one for outside
the trailer. These bowls are effective and extremely reasonably priced for what they do.

Super Wet/Dry Product
This Product Keeps my Pets Watered(Wet)and My floors DRY. I am constantly(along with help of others)stumbling by the water bowl and spilling water. Thanks to the purchase of the "Water Hole"My Floors are DRY! We used to have to take the water dish up and empty it every time we would roll so as to not spill any water in the event of a fast stop or large pothole etc.....Now with this product the Pets can water whenever they feel like it.The "Water Hole" is GREAT!Try One It's the best investment for the price you'll ever make!

Glad I can still get a necessary product
I am glad I can still get this product. I used to be able to buy Water Hole Pet Dishes at our pet supply but they quit stocking them. I keep one in the van because thats the best way to take the dog with us. I have used this product for years and I am happy to get new dishes.

Works as advertised
We bought this bowl to put in the SUV while on road trips. The bowl works great. As other reviews have stated, it doesn’t hold a lot of water. The first trip one of our dogs decided to be a brat & drink the whole thing Before we pulled out of the driveway, so his brother couldn’t have any. We have always carried a gallon of water in the car, so we can refill if needed. You also want to make sure you press down the lid really good, so that you have a good seal all the way around.

Great indoors and out
This product was highly recommended to me by a Camping World
employee. I didn't think the center hole would be large enough for our
two medium to large dogs. But our Siberian Husky and Norwegian
Elkhound don't have any problem drinking water from these bowls.
The dogs often knock the bowls over when they are outside, but the
water doesn't spill out. Inside our camper trailer, we humans often
accidentally kick the bowls, but the water doesn't spill out.

Great!
This bowl will NOT allow any water to slop out whether you are on the road or at home. We are Boxer lovers. Boxers have big jowls and are sloppy drinkers (umm, the only thing that I can think of that they can be faulted on) This bowl is wonderful. We also use it in our bricks home.
Latest pup DID manage to pry off lid and chew it up though... she had all day in a big enclosure and was bored! We will be purchasing a new one before our July trip!

It works very well!
Our Aussie is a messy drinker! Whenever he drinks from his bowl the floor is noticeably wet at home. I didn't want the trailer to have a wet spot, so we bought this bowl and it is great. It easily goes from the trailer to the truck for the road trip back home. My boyfriend tried to empty it with the lid on and it still retained water! It is easy to use, and we will be using it in the house too.
