I have fittings to make this connection if the grill will function properly. ie achieve max and min heat settings.
I purchased the exact grill, removed the the regulator and connected it to my onboard quick connection LP supply. The grill did not perform properly. This grill works best with the small portable propane canisters.

Theoretically, yes. A majority of portable grills have their regulators around 11" WC / 0.5psi for LP flow. The manufacturers usually do not have this printed in any of the grill specs.
