Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Grill Brought this grill for the first time to our picnic and this is awesome. It was very convenient to bring along with the portable cart accessory. Perfect for when you have to walk a little to get to your picnic spot. The grill performed very well and accommodated hamburgers and hotdogs for a lot of people. It is so well designed and very convenient to use, I use this also now to grill steaks at home. It preheats much faster than our regular large barbecue grill and it cooks medium rare steaks to perfection. The size is small enough or large enough for your guests. It heats up very quickly so even if only cooking for two, this is perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greatest portable BBQ This is hands down the best portable and patio BBQ. It might be a little pricey but you get quality for what you pay for. What I love most about it is how convenient it is. You can take it anywhere you go just pop it in your trunk and wheel it away. It has the best grill grates which give you nice grill marks and grills nice quality food. Also it has a foldable stand on each side which is really convenient. And it has a built in thermometer which comes in really handy. The BBQ is really easy to clean and maintain. All you need is the Weber cleaning spray, BBQ brush, plastic putty knife, and a cloth or papertowel. Overall it's a really nice bbq and totally worth it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Missed years of great grilling ! Have had many types of grills over the years. But until I purchased my WEBER Q2200, I had not realized what a great grill was. It just simply amaze me how evenly it cooks whatever type of food that I put on the grill. Also, how simple it is to maintain the proper cooking temperature. From hot dogs, hamburgers to filets and sword fish, all of our meals come out perfectly. Best friend told me for year to buy a Weber. Finally took his advice and happy that I did. In short and simply put, Weber's are the best grills on the market. I would have to rate every other grill manufacturer as only runner ups to Weber. Weber in my book is First Place. And remember, second place is first looser.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality well made grill!!! I have wanted one of these grills for a long time. I used one at my parent's home and LOVED it. The cooking and clean up are super easy and I love the mostly nonstick nature of the grill. The only reason for a star knocked off is there was a missing hitch pin clip and once I registered online, I tried to submit the request for the missing piece (as I could not find one locally that would fit in the hole of the hitch pin), there was no part number for it and the help stalled there. Fortunately, a follow up message from someone else from Weber addressed it and send a new packet of hardware and now it is complete. I do appreciate that!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Weber 2200 Grill I already had a Q1200 which I love, but I didn't realize how the Q2200 would take it so much further. There are two big differences. The first is obvious - the size is significantly larger than the Q1200, so it is a lot easier to make a meal for four. I was able to do it on the Q1200, but now it's a breeze. The second was a surprise - it heats up faster and gets hotter than my Q1200 did. I no more start it up and a few minutes later it is 500 degrees...it took longer on my Q1200 and that is pretty convenient. Overall, build quality is great which is what I'd expect of Weber and I'm really enjoying it so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from RV Grill I purchased the Q2200 because it had been a hassle to make sure I had charcoal, lighter fuel, and matches. I was set to buy the Q1200 but my wife and thought that the Q2200 would give us more room to cook more items at once. Turned out she was right! We are learning how to adjust the heat to grill and bake. We’ve done burgers, brots, and baked a pasta dish. Biscuits weren’t that good! I’m liking it the more I use it! We are going to purchase a Q1200 and donate it for our American Cancer Society’s relay for life auction. Loving it so far!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Weber Q2200 Portable Gas Grill Grill is very well made, very sturdy. Stand is a little wobbly, we'll see how well it holds up. Cooking area is sufficient for small families or gatherings. Seems to be very efficient, doesnt use a lot of gas. The one issue I have is experienced is that at times the entire gas burner, which basically encircles the entire bottom of the grill, is not burning. At times a section along the front doesnt ignite or goes out while cooking. Not sure whats up with that but when cooking smaller pieces of meat this means that you have to keeping swapping meat from front to back to get all of the pieces cooked evenly and done at the same time. However overall I am pleased with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just right for a retired couple - all year round We had an old Weber this size that we wore out. That one didn't have the wings - so I forgot to take them out when I lit the burner - now we have grilled wings and I don't put them under the hood when I put the cover on. We grill 4-5 times a week. We got the propane adjuster hose (recommended for heavy users), a cover (our grill sits out in the weather all year), the flat iron grill (don't use that much), and the fold up cart (haven't used it because we had an old one that will be replaced in the spring). Recommend without hesitation.

Is this the largest weber Q, highest btu for tailgating (rv's)

what is the grilling surface sq. inches
Asked by: reddog
Yes, the largest portable WeberQ is the 2200 model with a single burner and 280 sq.in. of cooking area. The largest Q series grill from Weber is the 3200 model but has a modified base to mount permanently to the included cart. The 3200 has two burners with 468 sq.in. of cooking surface. We do not carry this model since it is not portable like the other variations.

two questions:what are exact dimensions of the grill grate? give length and width to equal 280 sq inches second inquiry:if you sell 20lb. propane tank

why wont my on-board 50 pound tank work?
Asked by: race team chef
The grates are approximately 10.5" x 15", making an overall 21" x 15". However, the oblong-tapered shape causes surface area loss which is why the manufacturer states 280 sq.inches for cooking surface.
If you are connecting the Weber directly to a DOT approved 50# tank with an OPD valve, that will work. However, if you are trying to connect the Weber from a already regulated source without modification of the Weber including removal of the onboard regulator, the grill will not operate correctly.

Does this connect to RVs LP propane?

I've heard some will but not be fully functional. Will this function at specs connected to LP? What additional parts are needed?
Asked by: Mike
No, this grill does not connect to an RVs low pressure propane line. Weber has yet to provide a conversion kit to do so; modifications are custom performed by the owner to connect to an RV onboard LP system.
