Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mr. I did buy the Electric Grill, because any Gas Unit is not allowed closer than nine feet from our newly purchased Condominium property. The electric unit is allowed and we can place it right on our ground floor patio, within two feet of our kitchen entrance. Quite convenient and especially a safe situation. Also, we have been very pleased and enjoyed excellent grilled food . Also, I like to give you a hint here: To safe on clean up of drippy greasy fats and what have you, I place one sheet of heavy aluminum under one sheet of parchment paper on the grill first, before placing food items for grilling. It does make a difference and my food turned out great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible Electric Grill I have had my Q2400 series for about 5years now and I live in upstate New York were I grill 12months a year. Does not matter what the tempture is outside as long as you heat the grill for about 15-20 mins. I do not live in a apartment or condo I have a home and stoped using charcoal grilling. I am amazed how easy it is to cook on it! I cook a lot of Steaks, burgers, salmon and chicken. They all come out incredible! I only wish that Weber Grill would come out with a bigger unit almost the size of a gas grill with about 450 square inches. Not everyone who buys this type of Grill lives in a condo or apartment!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Quality & Dependability I bought my Weber Electric Grill about a year ago to replace my old grill ( different brand ) . This is my first Weber product and was highly recommended by a friend who swore by their quality and customer service. I was amazed at the quality and how heavy duty the construction compared to my old grill. Performance is out of sight. It cooks quicker and maintains it's heat better than I could imagine. I paid a little more for the Weber but the quality and performance far out weighs the difference. I haven't had any issues with service. If you want performance and reliability don't hesitate to invest in a Weber product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This grill really works! Live in a restricted HOA, so it’s an electric grill or nothing. Replaced an older George Forman with the Q. This grill works as well as a Weber Gas Q - if you follow the directions. We grill almost every night. Made a flameless smoke pack (dry Weber wood chips, not wet, wrapped in a pack of tinfoil with one small pin hole to let the smoke out). put pack on grill bars during the 20 minute heat up period. It starts smoking, and gently flavors whatever you grill as well as any charcoal grill. Don’t discount this grill as a viable option for grilling. A little technology and innovation will get the job done with surprisingly good results. Have even grilled a smoked pork roast. Works well and highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Weber Electric to the Rescue! I have used a Weber gas grill and Smokey Mountain smoker for years. I tip to purchasers... look how thick the fire pan in on the Weber versus the cheaper grills. Cheaper thin metal grill pans will rust out. You get what you pay for. On the Smokey Mountain, I am a competition BBQ'er and this smoker will help you win contests. Now on the Weber electric grill. I am in transition from my old home to building my retirement home, so living in an apartment temporarily. Can't have grills with fire in apartments. The Weber electric is perfect. Steaks and chops about 10 minutes. Corn on the cob about 15 minutes. Asparragus about 5 minutes. Yum! Yum!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It is what it is Well..... I have owned Weber grills for over 45 years, kettles, three spirits (LP) where I now live LP is not an option due to restrictions on size of LP tank, you would go broke buying LP to heat up two hot dogs I am getting use to cooking on an electric, but i ain't liking it much. Have to cook on the "Lanai" which is in Illinois referred to as a screened in porch. Heat up is about the same as but VERY slow cooking, and I am now living in Florida in the summer where the ambient temp is pretty high. But, it is what it is. I would like to see more on shore building of Weber stuff. Cheap isn't better if it deprives workers in this country of jobs

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Didn't have a great first few months I am not sure about this grill after owning it 6 months. I have cooked boneless chicken and steak on it many times and after heating for the first 15 minutes (as others have said let it heat up) the food is well cooked and tastes great. Why am I not sure then? Well after only 4 months of light use (mayb 10 times used) it would not turn on. I have received the replacement part and have installed it. I then cooked some steaks and they came out great. I will give it 3 stars now and let you know in another few months if it truly performs like a Webber.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best electric grill around! I live in a condo and cannot have a gas or charcoal grill on my balcony, per fire code. However, I love to grill and decided to try this one due to the Weber name. My first couple of try’s were somewhat disappointing. The food was over cooked. Then, I went back and REALLY read the directions. Results have been very good since then. Even if you’ve been grilling for 50 years (like me), you can’t grill the same on an electric grill as you do on charcoal or gas. If you explicitly follow the directions, I think you will be pleased with the results.
