The innovative Weigh Safe Clam Shell Tow Ball Adapter converts most 2" tow balls into a 2-5/16" tow ball which can be used on most bumper pull systems. The simplified design is easy-to-use, lightweight, and stores easily so you can rest assured that you will always have the correct sized tow ball to haul your load. Built to last, this tow ball adapter is made from high-strength stainless steel for corrosion resistance.
With 4 built-in magnets the Weigh Safe Clam Shell Adapter will stay in place even if the trailer coupler is positioned incorrectly on the ball. In addition, the magnets allow the user to know when the Clam Shell has been properly placed by snapping into place. The Clam Shell Adapter was also developed to maintain free rotation about the tow ball, minimizing both friction and wear.
