Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not very good Doesn’t amplify existing WI-FI to any great extension. The LTE providers service is poor in California. Waste of $400. I’m back to my iPad direct streaming from Verizon and using it as a hotspot. The WI-FI/LTE radios in iPad a superior to this box of smoke and mirrors. Do not throw away your money.

Do I need to buy the router also?

    Asked by: Anonymous
No, the ConnecT 2.0 doubles as a wireless router. Unlike the first generation ConnecT which included a separate interior component that was the wireless router.

I have existing Verizon MiFi and unlimited data plan. If a connect it through this new device will I need an additional data plan charge?

Travel in RV motorhome We use 2 IPhones, 1 I pad and a Smart Tv for streaming Netflix etc.
    Asked by: Allan
No, one of the main features of the Connect 2.0 is that you can remove the SIM card from your Verizon MiFi or smart device and insert it directly in to the Connect 2.0 antenna. Thus the Connect 2.0 will have the ability to provide Verizon data service instead of the MiFi unit due to the SIM card swap.

I am trying to understand how this works. With my AT&T unlimited plan. I will be able to use this how? Once installed I will be able to connect via my phone or laptop, correct? It has to be installed on the roof, what if i dont want it installed there?
